Mª Paz & Ginés’s Wedding

When we first met Mª Paz there was an instant connection which made everything run so smoothly. There were just 2 months to go before their wedding and she contacted us by referral to help her with the coordination of last details and also to officiate her marriage. So we deployed a team of several people to offer her two of our services: Wedding Planner and Wedding Officiant.

With little availability because of work and living away from Granada, our help proved to be very useful in order to crown all those details which made their wedding intimate, personal and very elegant. Furthermore, we wrote a fully customized script for them with tradition in mind, and the couple performed the ritual of light, which resulted in a very emotive moment.

The previous days we had to make last-minute decisions, because of the forecast rain, but whereas the weather was pretty good eventually, our support for these last-minute changes helped Mª Paz & Ginés enjoy their wedding with intensity and peace of mind.

Their wedding was rather intimate but gathered family and friends from all over the world who met in Granada to celebrate their love.

The result was a wedding at the heart of La Alhambra, with incredible views of Generalife.

Dandelion Events’ details

The civil ceremony was held early in the evening at Parador de San Francisco. This hotel has a special charm and the courtyard dedicated to ceremonies has a very long history. A blend of cultures written in its walls and floors which engage you in every wedding.

All the decoration of the ceremony, the floral decoration of the banquet and the bride’s bouquet were entrusted to Carolina Bouquet, who made a masterful job, as usual. The color palette involved white, beige, and light pink shades, everything very elegant and sophisticated and designed to create a cozy and superb atmosphere by the candlelight of the impressive
candle holders.

Accompanied by her father, the bride arrived at the hotel radiant in a dress by Pronovias highlighting her silhouette. With a simple veil, a little flower pin and an astonishing bouquet, she made her way accompanied by her children too.

The ceremony was full of emotive moments, the newlyweds looked at each other showing of that special bright which only complicity is able to bring about. The ceremony included their children readings and concluded with the ritual of light, accompanied all the time by the music of Música a la Carta.

Then, they continued with the cocktail in the terrace with Generalife views, a unique location, where we placed the sitting plan with stationery of Petipress, who was entrusted the design and production of all the stationery of the wedding (sitting, records, tables…).

While the guests were starting the cocktail, the newlyweds took some photos at this unmatched stage. Francis Rosso was in charge of taking all the pictures and he did a superb job.

The venue itself was in charge of the catering, creating a traditional menu which was a success.

The cake was a beautiful creation of Tarta & Arte displayed in two white levels with beautiful flowers and a wonderful taste, chocolate and candied mango.

Mª Paz & Ginés’s wedding was elegant but amusing as well, as they enjoyed the live performance of a flamenco group which delighted all the guests.
