Irene & José Luis’s Wedding

Irene contacted us a little more than a month before her wedding, a wedding which had been organized within a few months in advance and she had been in charge of preparing most of details from Madrid. But, as the Big Day date got closer, there were still some details to realize (such important details!) and she wanted a professional Wedding Designer & Planner who coordinated the wedding day to guarantee that everything worked out properly.

During our first meetings we agreed we would be responsible for coordinating all those details and finally we took control of the wedding and offer her our Wedding Planner Service, which proved to be very useful to let her enjoy her Big Day. She didn’t have to worry about anything, because we were there to look after every detail.

We took care of coordinating all the aspects related to the wedding within the previous weeks and, naturally, during the Big Day, when we made sure every detail we had been working on together was carried out brilliantly.

Irene & Jose Luis’s Wedding was an elegant one, in white, pink and peach shades, where light and elegance were prominent. A huge and multicultural wedding where family and friends from all over the world and Granada, of course, met.

Irene and Jose Luis wanted a romantic wedding, cared about in every detail and where everybody could feel special and comfortable.

The result was a wedding at the foot of The Alhambra, with incredible views and a bright sunshine of a May morning.

Dandelion Events’ Details

The religious ceremony took place at 12:00 pm, at Santa Ana church, one of the highest demand for couples in Granada. It stands out for being at the foot of The Alhambra and for having a beautiful square where the bride and the groom’s car could be parked. The entrance is impressive and majestic, although the temple is not very big, and probably this is one of the major attractions which lists it within the favorites of the city.

Accompanied by her father, the bride arrived at the church radiant in a dress designed and tailored for her. We like tailor-made dresses so much! They give off a special touch. Irene was radiant displaying a braided hairstyle with natural orchids and a bouquet in pink and peach shades by Miguel Ángel Salazar, from Atrezo.

After the ceremony, which was full of emotive moments, the bride and the groom received a rice rain, as it is the custom. Then, they went straight away to Carmen de los Chapiteles, a venue with the enviable views of La Alhambra where the celebration took place. Not surprisingly, this was also the spot chosen to take their photo session by Alfonso Azaustre, from Azaustre.

The venue itself was in charge of the catering, creating a traditional menu which was a success.

The cake was a beautiful creation by Tarta & Arte displayed in three white levels and flowers matching the bride’s bouquet, a perfect detail following the same color palette of the wedding. Apart from the cake, a selection of minisweets was the delight of all guests.

As far as decoration, the bride opted for simplicity, white linens and centers of flowers in a decanter following the same color palette. Everything was designed by Atrezo.

Irene and Jose Luis’s wedding was traditional but with the personal mark of the couple. It was an elegant and amusing wedding where the guests had fun to late night.
