Inma and Dani are close friends of ours and are part of our family. So imagine our joy when they told us that they were going to get married and left the whole organization of their wedding in our hands. What an honor and great resposibility!

Their wedding was to be held in the bride’s town, Antequera. In this way, we inaugurated our WeddingDesigner&Planner Service in the province of Malaga, an exciting challenge for our team. The entire organization was a great work of looking for trusted suppliers and places that fitted our friends’ idea, a target which we finally achieved successfully.

Inma and Dani wanted to celebrate a customized wedding with original touches, a great staging full of details that spoke for themselves. Their religious wedding was held in the Basílica de Santo Domingo, very close to the family. Then, they wanted to hold the celebration in a field where they could enjoy a big party.

Inma y Dani wanted a customized wedding, full of handmade details in which they cooperated, so we finally organized a Rural Handmade & DIY Wedding.

We recreated all Inma and Dani’s wedding ideas in an amazing olive tree field, a few miles away from Antequera, where guests could enjoy a delicious catering and an unconventional banquet served in a different way, and a party which lasted until the wee hours, all these full of music and accompanied by the best cocktails and a tailored-made decoration and plenty of charming details.

The result was a September rural style wedding amid olive trees, but with a lot of elegance.

Dandelion Events’ details

The religious ceremony was held in the Basílica de Santo Domingo in Antequera. We decorated the church with the help of the Brotherhood in an elegant and simple way. Some beautiful centers of flowers were arranged in pink and white shades, based on simple flowers as daisies and lilium. We decorated the nave with a red carpet and flowers on the benches where we placed a number of missals to follow the ceremony and some fans to fight off that September heat.

During the ceremony, the bride and the groom’s parents were sitting next to them at the altar, breaking the convention and supporting them in a ceremony full of emotion and love.

We prepared customized heart-shaped confetti bags for the moment the couple came out from the church, which gave a lot of color and romance to the photos which were being taken at the same time.

The search of the venue is something we took very seriously. Inma and Dani wanted to surprise, to break conventionalism and move away from people’s expectative. To do so, we focused our search on the idea of celebrating their open-air wedding in the country amid olive trees. An elegant and peaceful space with all the comforts and without leaving behind the rustic charm.

After dismissing several places, the couple went for Hacienda Monte Pilar, a farmhouse surrounded by charm with cared and spacious halls, a big central courtyard and beautiful gardens.

We made a great technical and logistic effort for the wedding day. We designed all decorative details in a totally customized way for them, from stationery to table centers, the Photocall, the sitting… All was designed exclusively for Inma and Dani and everything was assembled by our team the wedding day.

We split the celebration venue into three areas: the cocktail area in the farmhouse central courtyard, the banquet area in the main hall and the party area next to the swimming pool.

La Manzana de Adán was in charge of the catering with a completely alternative menu based on a long cocktail with different food stations and live cooking followed by a lighter meal inside the hall.

Inma and Dani wanted to break traditions one more time, so they left behind the cake-cutting and replaced it with a delicious sweet table designed and created for them by Tarta&Arte. It included a selection of macarons, mini cupcakes, mini millefeuilles, mini brownies and mini red velvet glasses besides other delights presented in a vintage dessert cart.

For the decorative proposal we followed the ideas agreed by the couple: handmade details following a warm -but varied- shade color palette, not just one or two shades to combine, all was about color, simplicity and elegance.

So we worked with preserve cans, trunks, pallets, wood signals, straw bales, multicolored bows… Daily objects that combined in the right way resulted in a carefully elegant and colorful picture with a lot of rustic charm and 100% handmade.

The sitting, the Photocall with a wish cage, the table decoration with wood trunks and preserve cans, the customized letters with the fiancés initials and the decoration with notice board were highlights in the decoration proposal… Everything was designed exclusively for Inma and Dani, completely handmade and with all our love.

Breaking traditions again, Inma and Dani decided not to give away the traditional guest gifts. They replaced them with a funny Photocall that printed in real time photos of disguised guests during the party. Certainly an unforgettable memory in charge of Sapa Fun Photos.

Inma and Dani’s wedding was really unforgettable. It was full of emotive moments as the bride’s bouquet delivery or the surprise that the guests gave the couple dancing all together and displaying happiness’ messages for them. But there was a lot of fun too, especially during the party, with choreographies and all the guests dancing the song Happy together with the newlyweds.

A wedding to remember and which we will always carry in our hearts.
